The P100 Training Project is equipping hundreds of campaign staff and candidates around the country with the nuts-and-bolts tools they need to run smart, competent campaigns from Day One. Our trainings use hands-on exercises to make sure folks don't just learn — but can also do.
P100 graduates work on progressive campaigns locally and nationally, and stay connected to their fellow organizers through our innovative alumni program. We're building an army to change who holds power.

Matthew "Mudcat" Arnold
Field Trainer
Matthew "Mudcat" Arnold is a principle at MC Strategies. In 2012 he was the national campaign manager for the CREDO SuperPAC. Mudcat is a veteran of over a dozen campaigns for state and federal office, and is a national field trainer for Progressive Change Campaign Committee and Democracy for America. He's run campaigns for progressive champions like Lloyd Doggett and was the field director for Mary Jo Kilroy and Darcy Burner. Mudcat has designed sophisticated organizing operations for MoveOn.org, the Sierra Club, and a host of other non-profit and labor clients.
Selene Hofer-Shall
Finance Trainer
Selene Hofer-Shall is the managing partner of Theseus Advisors, LLC, a Democratic consulting firm based in Burlington, Vermont founded in 2008. After years working as a crisis counselor for adolescents with behavioral and psychiatric disorders, Selene got involved in local politics in Burlington, VT, volunteering on a number of local city council and state house races. She joined the Operations Team of Vermont Governor Howard Dean's Presidential campaign in 2003, helping to compile the largest FEC reports in Presidential Campaign History. Selene was one of the founding staffers of Democracy for America, working as Operations Director and assistant to the Finance Director. She then went on to work on numerous successful campaigns from city council to United States Congress, breaking fundraising records in races for Congress, Governor and State Treasurer. Selene works with campaigns, organizations and state Democratic parties across the country to train staff and candidates in the science and art of campaign budgeting, finance and fundraising. Selene has a passion for grassroots fundraising, and believes that fear of fundraising should never prevent a qualified candidate from running for office. Selene specializes in political operations and financial compliance.
